Job description

We are seeking a passionate individual to serve as the lead, customer-facing representative of the farm. The CSA Coordinator performs a wide range of functions including the following:

• Write blog posts

• Write weekly newsletter

• Edit written communications

• Create and post content for social media accounts

• Represent the farm at public events and speaking engagements

• Coordinate donations, charity, and community outreach activities.

• Organize and lead on-farm events which may include dinners, tours, drive in movies, pop-up markets, member work days, and more.

• Devise and implement new strategies for connecting the public, and especially our members, to the farm.
 

Qualifications:

Candidates should have at least 3 years experience in public relations, sales, or marketing, especially in a customer facing setting. Experience in the food industry or sustainable agriculture required. Applicants must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable with public speaking. Successful applicants will bring energy and enthusiasm for our sustainable practices and products as well as an ambitious and creative approach. 
 

Technical Skills:

• Ability to use Apple software and products

• Adobe Creative Suite a plus

• Numbers/Excel

• Pages/Word

• Photography

• Basic web design and understanding of SEO a plus
