Company description Waterpenny Farm is an 8-acre vegetable farm where we've been using all organic methods to grow vegetables and flowers for farmer's markets and CSA shares since 2000.

Waterpenny Farm is an 8-acre vegetable farm in Rappahannock County, VA. Since our first growing season in 2000, we’ve been committed to running our farm in harmony with the environment, using sustainable farming methods, with no chemical pesticides or fertilizers. We produce healthful, pesticide-free vegetables and flowers for farmers markets, a CSA subscription program and local on-farm customers. Our CSA serves people in the Washington, DC area, Northern Virginia and Rappahannock County, Virginia. Internship description We hire 6 interns each year who help in all aspects of vegetable production and marketing.  Interns work 45-60 hours/week, receive $1500/month paid in two installments per month. All of our interns are workers on payroll. Interns  live in a shared house on the farm.  We visit another farm or have a farm talk about twice a month.
