Job description

Stocked is looking for a part-time Content Creator and Social Media Coordinator to be a key member of our in house marketing team. We are seeking a team player who is passionate about local food and telling the stories of our incredible local farmers and producers.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a dynamic social media and online marketing program. We are looking for someone who is highly fluent in social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook, is proficient at creating engaging content, comfortable taking and editing photos, writing copy, engaging with our followers, and adhering to our brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative and creative media content across social media platforms 
  • Ideate, shoot and edit day-to-day content in the form of (but not limited to) photos, graphics, videos and GIFs primarily for our social media channels, but also for our website and other digital/print mediums 
  • Plan and maintain digital initiatives and posting schedule across priority online platforms including: Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
  • Post content for social media platforms on a daily basis 
  • Deliver monthly reports with statistics and results for each account 
  • Engage with followers and other accounts on a daily basis 
  • Monitor direct messages and social media tags 
  • Adhere to brand guidelines
 

Required Skills: 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are a crucial part of the success of this position, specifically the ability to present ideas and information clearly, personify the voice of the brand, adjust tone and nuance with the audience in mind, and engage with followers in a personal and meaningful way.
  • You must have experience and inclination to work in a startup environment, where good ideas, experienced opinions and a roll up your sleeves attitude are highly valued.
  • Proven experience with shooting & editing photography and video 
  • Proficiency and passion for social media platforms 
  • A keen eye for details
  • Ability to make creative suggestions in the interest of the organization
  • Passion for local food systems and sustainable communities 
  • Enthusiasm for our mission and vision.
 

Wage:

$17.50 - $25.00 / hr depending on experience

 

Location: 

Seattle, WA - Our office is located in Ballard.
