Job descriptionOur busy and fast-growing catering company needs an experienced Sales and Events Director with a demonstrated history working in the hospitality industry.
The ideal candidate is a hard-working self-starter with experience in full-service catering sales and a successful track record in business development.
Great for a candidate with an entrepreneurial spirit.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for selling and producing all off-premise events
Manage / grow relationships with existing and lead clients
Completing RFPs
Fostering business development opportunities
Create and implement new internal sales protocols across the business
Collaborate with the Culinary, Bookings and Delivery teams
Meetings with accounting team to review financial statements
Primary point of contact for event venues
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of sales experience
Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
Previous experience working in sales for a company in the hospitality industry
Proven track record of achieving sales growth
Prior relationships with venues, rental companies and event staff
COMPENSATION
Competitive salary + benefits
