Job description
Production Cook
Experienced production cook needed for Prepared Foods Department at Greene Grape Provisions. We are a from scratch kitchen making deli salads, roasted meats, daily specials, baked goods and soups. Additionally we have a growing catering operation. We are in need of a production cook able to join our small, close knit team.
Basic requirements:
- Previous experience in a production kitchen
- Ability to work positively in a fast-paced, team environment
- Above average knife skills, organizational skills and willingness to do any task
- Consistent execution of established recipes but the desire to bring in new ideas and create new items daily
- Strong attention to detail, self-sufficiency and prioritization
- Knowledge of weights, measurements, volume and cooking procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Weekend availability a must
- A love of good food!
