Role & Responsibilities:

• Carry out day-to-day Tasting Room operations at Rocklands Farm Winery
  • Customer Interaction/Greeting
  • Wine Sales
  • Opening/Closing Market (Stocking/Cleaning/Resetting Register/etc) and other SOPs
  • Assist customers with meats/meat CSA & market goods purchases
  • Other Operational Activities as Needed.
• Specifically on weekends, carry out operations plan, as received by General Manager, and report out accordingly at conclusion of weekend
• Manage Staff scheduling via Google Calendar
• Lead or Co-Manager All Tasting Room Operations
  • Point Person for Staff, Food Vendors, and On-Site Events (day-of)
• Point person for managing on-site Cellar Club inquiries and careful management of pickup list and wine storage
• Make phone calls or emails to Cellar Club members with overdue pickups
• Manage Rocklands Farm Winery phone system, receiving calls, talking with customers, and returning voicemails as needed
• Key contributor to maintaining and improving on-site customer experience
• Maintain a clean customer environment both inside and outside of the tasting room
• Coordinate on-site rental groups for Corn Crib and other group spaces day-of event
• Innovative Merchandising of Tasting Room Displays
• Assist in Training of Part-Time Management
• Manage/Report Weekly and Monthly Inventory of Wine and Market Goods
• Attend occasional staff training meetings and / or staff developments events
