Job description

We are looking for an experienced food and beverage professional who will take leadership for coordinating all activities related to the operation of our food, beverage, and events programs at the Cider Garden facilities at Finnriver.  We are looking for an impassioned leader to bring their love of this work, and their deep industry experience and enthusiasm to our unique rural operation.

The CGFB serves as the connective tissue, leadership and energizing source between staff, managers and the mission and operation of the Cider Garden. This role directly supports and guides a team of managers and programs and coordinates the harmonious and productive relations between Food Service, Tasting Room, Farmware Store, Clubs, Inventory and Events staff to fulfill operational and mission goals of the CG. The CGFB cultivates a positive and healthy culture that provides a compassionate and meaningful working environment as well inspiring exceptional customer service that uplifts our community values.

The CGFB works with the Retail Sales Director to offer strategic guidance and help set and coordinate financial and mission goals, while advancing solutions and practices for greater equity and ecological consciousness across the company and community. The CGFB is an essential member of the Finnriver leadership team and a collaborative, adaptive spirit is essential. 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Farm Chef/Food Operations Manager, CG/Taproom Managers, Farmware Creative Director, Cider Garden crew in coordination with CG Manager, Event Coordinators
