Wild Hive Grain Project is the most forward-thinking flour mill in the Northeast and is dedicated to providing fresh nutrient-dense flour and grain products throughout the region. Wild Hive is based in Clinton Corners, NY, the heart of Dutchess county and the Hudson River Valley.

The Position: We’re looking for Mill Operator. The base pay is $18-20 per hour with yearly raises based on performance. Starting wage is negotiable for candidates with milling experience. Position will begin part-time training an average of 24-28 hours per week, and transition to a full-time position quickly.

This is both a highly demanding and extremely rewarding opportunity. Our ideal candidate is motivated, production-minded, and interested in good food politics.

Requirements:

Able to lift 50 pounds safely and often.

Able to stand 8 hours a day.

Experience implementing production schedule. Organization and logical thinking are key.

Mechanical skills.

Forklift certificate would be great, but not necessary.

Responsibilities:

Operating our milling machinery, including rate of production, maintaining feed.

Maintaining a stock of our main products, and adapting to our dynamic fulfillment requirements.

Supplementing other staff with general upkeep, including maintenance and product fulfillment.
