Golda Kombucha is Georgia's first and finest Kombucha tea company and has opened an expanded brewery and tap room in the historic WestEnd.

Hand-crafted in small batches, Golda Kombucha utilizes the ancient kombucha culture with fresh fruit and local spices to create a refreshing health elixir. For over 2,000 years, Kombucha has been known for aiding in digestion, immune system support, while strengthening the mind, nurturing the body and uplifting the spirit. Golda Kombucha is named after the 96 year-old grandmother of the brewmaster behind Golda Kombucha. For the past 6 years here at Golda Kombucha and Cultured South Fermentation Co., we have built a strong Atlanta brand and unique line of products as Georgia’s first and finest Kombucha Brewery and Taproom. We’ve paved some windy, untraveled roads and gotten this far all thanks to our dynamic team and visionary CEO, with a big dream and lots of love labor. We are not a typical 9-5 corporate company, but a cool and cultured local business who works hard and has fun doing it.

We are seeking an confident, outgoing person to fill our role as the Farmers Market Sales Person. If you are skilled at communication and want to share a passion for fermentation, health, and wellness, this role will be a great fit for you. The Farmers Market Sales Person will work at our farmers market stand a few days each week at markets across metro Atlanta. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Travel throughout metro Atlanta as needed to work various markets.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Set up and take down farmers market displays.
• Lift heavy items including kegs and tents.
• Operate a point of sale system, handle cash, and update inventory stock.
• Meet/exceed market sales goals.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Promote our brand and educate buyers about our products.

You’re a good fit for the role if you:

• Are a resident of the greater Atlanta area.
• Have strong communication skills and enjoy engaging with customers.
• Are friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
• Are consistently on time.
• Can adhere to COVID-19 safety guidelines and market regulations.
• Can take excellent care of our equipment.
• Have preferred experience in the craft beverage/food industry.
• Thrive on working independently.
• Are passionate about fermentation, health, and wellness.

 

A close eye for detail, common sense, people skills and cleanliness is a must for this position. Heavy lifting and physical labor is required. The ideal person for this job has experience working at a restaurant, bar, food service or sales dealing with customers and selling product. Early Saturday and Sunday mornings are a must. Candidate will report to Golda Kombucha headquarters located in downtown Atlanta in the West End.

This position has upward mobility within this swiftly growing company. This is a entry level job for a growing company. We are looking for a permanent to permanent fixture in the company with a bright future ahead that would lead to other roles included shifts in our Kombucha Tap Room and production. This is a ground floor opportunity with a well respected company.

The direct report for these positions is the Operations Manager of Cultured South.
