Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Pack Shed: Wash, sort, package, and label according to orders from restaurants and CSA customers. 

High Tunnels: Broadfork, rake, seeding, transplanting, watering, apply soil amendments, weed, and actively participate in our integrated pest management plan (IPM) .

Field:

-Cultivating, weeding  

-Direct sowing, container sowing, transplanting 

-Transplanting-Removing plants

-Row cover/insect net management

-Plastic mulch removal

-Irrigation

-Trellising and pruning 

-Staking and stake removal 

-OMRI approved spray applications and record keeping in accordance with our IPM plan 

-Bulk harvest, wash, and pack 

Preferred Qualifications: 

-Reliable transportation, punctual

-Ability to work in a multitude of weather conditions  (hot, humid, damp, cold, wet, windy, etc) 

-Focus on quality while being efficient 

-Ability to work independently AND as part of a team

-Reliable communication via call, text, and email during work and regarding schedule changes

Work Schedule:

-Full time (May-December) Monday through Friday 7am-3pm or 6am-2pm 

-Part time (April-December) 7am-3pm or 6am-2pm 

**Additional or substitute hours available for Saturdays or Sundays during the high season, to water, receive deliveries at the farm, harvest to harvest crops like tomatoes, cucumbers, summer squash**

Compensation: 

-Dependent on experience
