Position 

The work is both physical and mental and requires stamina to be active for long shifts. Dedication and passion for crafting a delicious product is a must.  Being neat and tidy and on time is essential. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow recipes to produce a variety of cow and goat cheeses

• Cleaning and sanitizing 

• Following protocols for cheese quality and food safety

• Use of pH meters and thermometers

• Record keeping 

• Assist in training

Skill Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years experience.

• Detail- and process-oriented

• Good communication skills

• Self-motivated,  asks questions, seeks information, shares concerns & problem solves

• Ability to work with others in a respectful, cooperative manner

• Ability to work on your feet for long stretches, and lift 40+ pounds
