Founded in 2012, Flocktown Farm is an organic fruit and vegetable farm located in Pittstown, New Jersey. Over the past 10 years, Flocktown has grown to become one of the largest Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farms in the country, offering home delivery throughout North and Central NJ. We are a young, innovative, and rapidly growing team, dedicated to empowering motivated individuals to grow with us.

Job description

The Marketing Manager is responsible for conducting all advertising and communication activities for the farm. This job has a number of ongoing responsibilities but is ideal for a self starter that wants to grow and shape the position.

  • Maintain and update company website and online sales platform (farmigo)
  • Manage and create content for social media accounts
  • Write weekly newsletter
  • Update recipe blog
  • Proofread/edit public communications
  • Oversee all digital media marketing campaigns. This may include managing ads directly or overseeing an outside marketing agency. Ads include social, retargeting, lead generation, and paid search campaigns. (Sales season only, winter-spring)
  • Monitor and analyze advertising data including traffic, conversions, and user behavior. Generate weekly report with these statistics. (Sales season only, winter-spring)

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Responding to customer emails
  • Responding to customer calls

Qualifications:

Candidates should have at least 3 years experience in marketing field. All applicants must possess strong written and verbal communication skills as well as technical proficiency in digital marketing tools and technology. Successful applicants will bring energy and enthusiasm for our sustainable practices and products as well as an ambitious and creative approach. Knowledge and interest in food, sustainable agriculture, and environmental issues is a plus.

  • Pages/Word
  • Facebook and Instagram Ads Manager
  • Google Adwords
  • Photography
  • Basic web design and understanding of SEO
