We are looking for an intern to support the production and marketing of our show. The ideal candidate will have a love of food—and cookbooks in particular—and an interest in journalism or audio, as well as solid attention to detail, a desire to take initiative, and an embrace of creative ideas. We’re still a young podcast and are open to tailoring this opportunity to support the growth and interests of the right candidate. 

Some responsibilities may include: 

• Support in booking, preparation, and editing of author interviews
• Ideate on social media and email marketing content ideation and support in implementation
• Create website content, including recipes, episode transcripts, and blog posts
• Participate in the planning and execution of our Cookbook Club
• Assist in partnership planning and marketing efforts 
• Get the chance to see behind the scenes of cookbooks, learn from authors, and more!

You might be right for this role if you have:

• A love of cookbooks, food writing, or related fields
• An interest and/or experience in journalism, including strong editorial judgment, is beneficial
• A commitment to equity and a desire to create content that centers under-represented voices
• Strong writing and grammar skills
• Familiarity with digital tools like Google Suite, Airtable, and social media tools

This is a paid position with an estimated 10-15 hours per month. Some regular evening and weekend availability is expected for this role.
