Job description Demi is an intimate 20-seat, tasting menu only restaurant in the North Loop of downtown Minneapolis. Our entire team, including culinary, hospitality, dishwashing, and bar professionals, is only 12 people. We are looking for a motivated, curious, and team-oriented leader to join our team.

Candidates should have experience in fine dining or upscale restaurants, have a positive attitude, and prioritize discipline. This position is best suited for a goal-oriented, self-driven, and collaborative leader who has equal desire to teach and to learn. We believe our culture is our greatest asset, and we are intentional about building and developing it. Every person on Demi's team is responsible for providing all 40 guests we serve every night a personal, authentic, and memorable experience. Cooks are trained to deliver steps of service in partnership with the hospitality team, and hospitality team members are cross-trained to support the culinary experience making for an integrated experience for guests and for our team. Demi is open Wednesday through Sunday, and this position requires five workdays per week.

Demi is looking for a General Manager. Our culture rests on the pillars of genuine hospitality, humility, integrity, unity, and respect. We are looking for a candidate with a desire to grow in this profession and who finds a genuine sense of purpose in providing service, hospitality, and unique guest experiences. A motivated, emotionally intelligent, self-starter with strong problem solving and teamwork skills will be the best fit. Strong food, wine, spirits, and technical service knowledge is required.
