Tiny Organics is hiring our first Facilities Manager who will be critical to supporting the company’s in-house manufacturing facility. Reporting directly to the COO, you will work closely with the operations, QA/QC, and product development teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Purchase and inventory all maintenance equipment and supplies, including tools, parts, chemicals, cleaning supplies, PPE
  • Ensure facility is kept clean and organized and is in safe working condition for employees
  • Implement and execute equipment upgrades and improvements as needed
  • Own all sanitization procedures and schedules for facility
  • Develop and maintain operating and cleaning procedures for all equipment in the facility
  • Coordinate regular cleaning, repair, and maintenance of facility with minimal disruption of production time
  • Ensure safe work behaviors are being followed by everyone in the facility at all times
  • Ensure facility is in compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Schedule all transportation of materials inbound and outbound of facility
  • Complete incident investigations for any accidents or property loss
  • Be on call for in-person emergency maintenance as needed, which may include weekends, holidays, and severe weather events

Requirements

  • 2-5 years technical facilities experience in a food production environment
  • Familiarity with food safety best practices and chemical safety handling
  • Basic repairs and maintenance knowledge (electrical, mechanical, plumbing)
  • Understanding of inventory management and warehouse management systems
  • Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
  • High degree of analysis, problem solving, and creativity
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
