OVERVIEW

We know work/life balance is important - that’s why we offer distinct day, night and mid - line cook positions. Sometimes we will need our cooks to be flexible and back each other up in times of personal need or business needs, but we try to honor cooks who prefer specific schedules to help them achieve work/life balance. We expect our overall team - whether day or night cooks - to work as a team to set up the next shift for success out of respect for each other and a sense of always doing the right thing - even when no one is looking. If you have a passion for clean food and keeping a clean kitchen you will be a great match for our team!


DAY LINE COOK


Are you an early riser? Ready to tackle the day before the sun rises? Appreciate a craft coffee drink as you crank out breakfast for our guests? 


Are you ready to crush the lunch rush and then set up the night crew for success in the quiet of the afternoon? Our Day Line Cooks rise to the occasion during our busiest shifts and then pivot to clean, organize and changeover the line for the night crew.


NIGHT LINE COOK


Are you in the zone later in the day? Do you have other pursuits during the day and prefer a night shift? Appreciate a craft coffee drink to keep you caffeinated during your shift?


Are you detail-minded and focused on consistent plate presentation? Are you up to the challenge of carefully timing appetizer, entree and dessert courses to provide an extraordinary experience for our guests? Our Night Line Cooks are masters of our grill and saute stations executing high quality, consistent output . Once the orders quiet down, our Night Line Cooks begin to close down the line and kitchen to set up the morning team.

OVERVIEW OF POSITION EXPECTATIONS

  • Ability to work high-volume in a small kitchen
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality and dependability
  • Ensures all items are prepared consistently to recipe and plate presentation specifications
  • Coordinates the timely execution of all orders
  • Rotates food and records the time and date on all food items
  • Cleans and sanitizes food preparation equipment and areas
  • Demonstrates the ability to multi-task and work quickly and efficiently.
  • Demonstrates strong communication and team work skills
  • Adheres to sanitation and health guidelines.
  • Assists with making sure that all food stations and walk-in coolers are clean and organized.
