Essential Responsibilities
Oversee teaching kitchen ordering, storage and inventory
Manage necessary preparation for all classes and events
Assist Dalton faculty and staff in executing classes and programs
Collaborate with the High School Administration to ensure successful kitchen operations
Create an inclusive, welcoming environment for students, faculty and staff
Ensure health and safety protocols are strictly followed by all constituents
Supervise students and support school operations.
Some early evening hours required; split shifts a possibility
Qualifications
2 years’ experience in professional kitchen operations or a related field
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to enforce stringent health and safety protocols
Facility with relevant technology and prompt email communication
Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace
