Company description Grape Collective is an online wine magazine and retailer. We have an experiential retail store in Manhattan where the content lives through articles, photography, video and soil samples and is directly connected to the wines that we carry.  Telling the stories behind the bottles is at the core of Grape Collective’s mission, but we also want to bridge the gap between reading about a wine and drinking it. We recently opened a new store in Montclair, NJ and are expanding into cheese.  Our firm belief is that a good wine (and a good cheese) becomes better the more you know about it.  Job description The wine blogger/ retail associate will work out of Grape Collective's Upper West Side retail location. Grape Collective is an online wine magazine that combines high quality narrative wine journalism alongside commerce. We are dedicated to articulating the stories behind great wines and then allowing readers to experience the wines. The new Montclair retail experience will be a hub for content creation as well as a unique commerce experience. We are also adding a focus on artisanal cheese at this location. This is an entry level position. The right candidate will be enthusiastic and knowledgeable about wine and be excited to contribute content to the site. You will also be responsible for communicating the value proposition of the content to retail customers. You will also need to available to work major holidays. We are looking for someone who can work two 5 hour shifts per week. 

Responsibilities:
- Produce new and original wine for the grapecollective.com site
- Help out with the day to day operations of Grape Collective's  retail location

Qualifications:
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to motivate yourself and others
- Impervious to writer's block. Doesn't make excuses. Loves thinking, talking and writing about wine.
