At Matunuck Oyster Bar, we are committed to providing the freshest food available, using locally sourced produce along with farm-raised and wild-caught seafood. Our signature raw bar is fully stocked with a variety of Rhode Island oysters, crisp cherrystones, littleneck clams, and jumbo shrimp. Our very own Matunuck Oysters are grown in Potter Pond, right off our waterfront patio. In addition, many of the herbs and vegetables found in our delectable meals are grown on our organic vegetable farm on the north end of Potter Pond.

We are looking for managers that feel the same way we do. This is a salary position and we offer a 401k match and health insurance contribution, dental and vision. We are seeking motivated culinary professional with at least 2 year’s management experience (Chef or Sous chef). Must be available nights and weekends. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- line cooking
- food preparation
- inventory control
- menu development
- recruiting, training and maintaining a happy staff
- Maintaining a clean kitchen and surrounding area complying with current health code and safety standards. (Candidates are preferably food safety certified)
- solve customer concerns in a timely professional manner
- help maintain and keep equipment in good working order
- maintain a comfortable work environment for our team
