We are looking to build the farm operations to include educational and therapeutic engagement by retreat center participants. Job description
We are a start-up operation taking over a previously working farm, so the project will be developed in phases. The Farm Manager will manage the 2 acres we steward and will be responsible for all aspects of our mixed vegetable and medicinal herb and plant production. The Farm Manager will hire, train, manage, and work alongside the farm team (including volunteers and  interns). The Farm Manager will attend weekly staff meetings and bi-monthly Board meetings, and will have the opportunity to work with other staff members in long-term visioning and projects that overlap with the farm (like mushroom cultivation, coordinating educational programs on the farm, events, etc.). The Farm Manager will need to track and monitor all farm related data and will be asked to provide information to support fundraising efforts.
