Job descriptionThis position is based in our Greenpoint office and commissary in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The main function of this position is to support Ovenly's marketing initiatives and produce content for social media and email. The marketing & social media assistant position requires an individual with excellent written and verbal skills, a knack for current and emerging social media platforms, photo & design experience, and some previous marketing experience. Baked good lovers preferred!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Director of Marketing and Ovenly Management Team with all marketing campaigns and initiatives
- social media coordination including: developing copy, photographing and editing photos, posting content, creating and presenting performance reports, replying to messages, assisting with social media launch plans
- Manage weekly updates on all digital platforms including Instagram, Google, Klaviyo, Instagram, Squarespace
- Create monthly newsletters
- Track influencer and press media
- Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Punctuality and on-site work, minimum 2 days per week
- Ability to follow instructions and effectively complete tasks in a timely manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail, ambitious and self-starting
- Ability to multi-task and hit deadlines to complete projects
- Photography background (including instagram food photos) is required
- Design experience a plus
- Klaviyo or email platform systems a plus
- Internship or entry-level marketing position experience
