BodhiTree Farm is an efficiently running small group, owned and operated by two women, with high standards that has proven itself through our products and reputation for the past 11+ years. Our farm spans 65 acres of preserved farmland located  in Pemberton township in the NJ Pinelands, of which 20 acres we cultivate per season. The physical nature of our work is both challenging and rewarding. We operate everyday with passion, while growing over 100 varieties of unique and ethnic vegetables/some fruits.  

We are proudly certified organic and use organic and natural techniques in our everyday operations.  BodhiTree is looking for other like-minded people who embody a hunger for growth, learning, and a desire to provide honest food. 
Our season starts now until the end of November. 

 

There will be many tasks that you will be involved in day-to-day operations. Throughout the season, there are always weekly duties to be completed with many variations, where the majority of work is done by hand. There is endless list of things you can learn, from soil preparation, all the way through post harvesting, and everything in-between. You will be and see the process of production with hands-on learning while working from start to finish. 
The high quality products we produce and sell are due to every single step of care put into it. You will work along side us to gain that knowledge and apply that to the rest of your life!

The following are our basic requirements:
  > ability to work long days in all weather conditions
  > physically fit and strong
  > ability to squat or kneel for extended periods of time
  > good attitude is a must!
  > willingness to work as part of a team
  > ability to work quickly and efficiently
  > ability to take directions and ask questions
  > desire to uphold high quality standards
  > previous experience preferred but not required
  > valid drivers license(preferred)
  > punctual
  > take initiative
  > **Spanish speaking a plus**

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  > bed preparation
  > direct seeding and transplanting
  > cultivate and weed control
  > irrigation
  > harvest, wash, and pack crops for market
  > possible days at the farmers market as needed
  > other farm related tasks as needed
