Do you have a passion for supporting organic, local, sustainable agriculture while and bringing healthy food to your community? We’re looking for a Farmstand Operations Manager at the Farmstand in the Easton Public Market who does just that.

What the Job Looks Like

The Farmstand Operations Manager applies their passion for sustainable local agriculture through building and managing vendor relationships with regional and local farmers and artisans. In this role you will source quality A-Z products and offer a year-round one-stop array of food products for our retail farm stand inside the Easton Public Market. You will also have autonomy over what you purchase and use your creativity in how you merchandise the stand while managing the staff, budget, and P&L. Collaborating on marketing ideas, you will find new and creative ways to integrate the stand with the community and other GEDP initiatives.

Important Qualifications to your Success

  • 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a grocery/produce, non-profit or mission-based environment
  • A passion for your local community and sustainable agriculture
  • Oversight over P&L, cost of goods margin-based calculations for pricing, merchandising and management of Point-of-sale equipment
  • Fostering a positive, fun, engaging work environment along with managing and scheduling staff
  • Ability to lift up to 40-50 pounds and operate a company vehicle
