Job description

We are looking for a thoughtful individual who has experience with driving and logistics coordination. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, maintains a positive attitude, has strong communication skills, the ability to receive constructive criticism, timely, and maintains a strong work ethic. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Transports staff, produce and supplies to and from destinations;
  • Research and plan for traffic, weather delays and construction;
  • Use navigation software to determine the safest and fastest route;
  • Ensure that vehicles are always fueled and ready for use;
  • Arranging for vehicle repairs as needed;
  • Maintaining mileage and repair logs

 

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record;
  • Willingness to work and preparation for working outdoors in all weather conditions;
  • Experience driving small box trucks or large passenger vans preferred;
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds;
  • Excellent organizational, communication and follow-through skills;
  • Maintains appropriate professional boundaries in working with co-workers and teens;
  • Ability to think critically and creatively;
  • Willingness to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment, but have the ability to work unsupervised to complete the job

 

Duration: This is a full-time seasonal position, 5 days per week totaling 40 hours weekly through the end of October

 

Compensation: Hourly compensation starting at $17 per hour, not to exceed 40 hours per week.
