We are a Cheese Shop & Cafe located in Madison on the Connecticut Shoreline near New Haven and have been in business since 2008.
We are 2 businesses in one, a full service artisanal cheese and specialty food shop, and a cafe specializing in amazing and varied gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches.
We work hard to procure and offer to our customers a wonderful selection of the most delicious cheeses, charcuterie and foods in the world.
We are passionate about good food, and happily, we have learned over time that truly natural, healthy and sustainably produced food tastes best.
Our challenge is to continually learn more and to impart that knowledge to our customers so that they too can find joy in real food grown and made, not by faceless corporate conglomerates, but by honest farmers and artisans. Job description We are a well loved Cheese Shop and Cafe. We sell and serve the best Cheese, Gourmet Food, Charcuterie boards, Sandwiches, and Grilled Sandwiches on the Shoreline. We are a small shop with a tight knit team of unique individuals. This job focuses on preparing selections from our Cafe menu, but everyone who works in our shop will cross train and perform all aspects of the day to day operations of the shop, which includes our wonderful selection of International Cheeses, Charcuterie, and Fine Foods. If you are interested in, and love good food, our shop is a good place to be. Compensation this position is : hourly, $15-20/hr Application instructions
