Rolling Grocer 19 (RG19) is a year round, full-service grocery store located in Hudson, NY that also acts as a hub for rural food distribution throughout Columbia County.

RG19 is a community-driven response to the food-security and economic challenges in the county. Inhabiting a 630 sq ft. storefront and a renovated 16’ trailer, RG19 offers a wide range of wholesome products, including fresh produce, dairy, bread, grains, meat, seafood, and other products.

Our intention is to provide convenient, quality food for all -- no matter the income level -- with a priority placed on low-income residents. Food is made affordable through a three-tiered fair pricing system.  At the same time, the store prioritizes sourcing from local environmentally-conscious farmers and distributors, reinvesting local spending back into community businesses.

We are seeking full-time staff to join our committed team.

Full time team members will fulfill retail responsibilities, including:

• Operating cash registers
• Restocking product, maintaining overall store cleanliness
• Greeting customers, responding to questions
• Educating customers about our store mission and tiered pricing system

In addition to the retail associate responsibilities listed above, full time store members will grow to take on some administrative responsibilities, alongside other members of the store team, with training provided.  These responsibilities may include ordering, inventory management, marketing, or IT work, and represent approximately 25% of total work hours.

Compensation: Salaried $35,568-$45,000 DOE.
