Marketing and Social Media Position Champlain Valley Hops

  • Date Posted October 26, 2021
  • Location Starksboro, VT
  • Category Agriculture / Business
  • Job type Part-Time
Company description

Champlain Valley Hops is the largest hop farm in New England. Located about 30 minutes south of Burlington, we grow and process premium hops for the region's growing number of craft breweries as well as home brewers. 98% of hops in the United States are grown in the Pacific Northwest. CVH is passionate about local agriculture and would like to give regional brewers greater access to local ingredients. See our products at Foam Brewers, Zero Gravity, Burlington Beer Company, Four Quarters and many other Vermont (and even international) breweries! Our growing practices continue to evolve based on what we think is right for our land, our customers, and us. This means using both organic and “conventional” inputs. We planted our first hops in 2018 and had our first commercial scale harvest in 2020.  We have been working hard to expand our customer base and get the word out to brewers about our operation and the unique qualities of our Vermont grown hops.  We encourage all crew members to participate in the company's development and to make suggestions when they see an opportunity for improvement.  You can learn more about Champlain Valley hops through our website/online store (ChamplainValleyHops.com) and Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/champlain.valley.hops/
