Operations Support Specialist

Pinnacle Prevention is seeking a full-time Operations Support Specialist who will support overall administrative operations for the organization. We offer a flexible work environment emphasizing a balance of time working in the office, home, and out in the community. Our office environment is pet and family-friendly, meaning it is not uncommon to find a little one, whether on four legs or two, playing at our feet during meetings – a nontraditional approach that the ideal candidate will feel comfortable with. The Pinnacle Prevention office is located in downtown Chandler, Arizona in a bike/pedestrian friendly environment.

 

This is an exempt full-time position with an annual salary of $42,000 commensurate with experience. Responsibilities

The Operations Support Specialist is primarily responsible for daily administrative and operations support with a focus on call and program inquiry management and coordination.

 

Customer service call and program inquiry management and coordination responsibilities include (~70% of your time):

  • Responding to program inquiries from program participants and community partners while centering care, dignity, and justice,
  • Developing and managing a call and inquiry tracking process and system,
  • Analyzing and reporting on call and inquiry trends to inform planning and quality improvement processes,
  • Managing the organizational referral database and platforms,
  • Staying knowledgeable and updated on Arizona’s social service programs and application processes,

 

Administrative and operations support responsibilities include (~30% of your time):

  • Providing administrative, logistical, and scheduling support to the Executive Director and team
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings, trainings, and events including securing facilities, catering, and managing supplies and printing
  • Supporting program supply purchasing and inventory,
  • Contributing to general office and operational management,
  • Participating in planning and decision-making with the Pinnacle Prevention team,
  • Engaging in professional development,
  • Participating in meetings, community events, and otherwise contributing to the mission and strengthening the impact of Pinnacle Prevention

 

Qualifications

  • Education or related work experience in nonprofit, public health, or social service program settings
  • Strong customer skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience and passion for social causes overall, with a lens towards justice
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to work in office, remotely, and outdoors in the community
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends
  • Must be able to drive a vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license because driving will be an aspect of your job duties in this role
  • Must be willing to travel both in-state and out-of-state and to rural and remote communities
