Culture Cream’s colorful flavors are matched only by the freshness of local ingredients: blueberries, raspberries, juneberries, and pineapple. With an appreciation and respect for seasonality and sustainability, our flavors change based on the weather and seasons. Each season we announce our new flavors with this Summer’s latest creation green probiotic ice cream made with avocado, local nettle and an array of wild herbs.

Culture Cream grew out of Katiushka’s love for healthful living and need to experiment and create. Ice cream is a blank canvas waiting to be infused with herbs, fruits, fungi and fermented addons.  It is an opportunity to create community through food, a moment to gather and honor our plants, our foraged foods and to learn about the evolving future of food. It’s a cultural movement and we welcome you to be a part of it.

We're growing. The Culture Cream Kitchen and Lab is looking for a new team member. Learn the ins and outs of making our one-of-a-kind ice creams and fermented treats. Kitchen experience is a must. We are a small team of self-starters and looking for the same. Pay is competitive.

The Ice Cream Maker is responsible for operating, cleaning, and providing general maintenance and upkeep for a variety of equipment. These functions include a variety of duties and responsibilities that are directly, or indirectly, linked to the safest production of the highest quality ice cream products possible.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Ensure the highest quality product by performing all required procedures, quality checks and documentation to meet specifications

-Measure and monitor critical control points to make and keep processes running in a controlled fashion. 

-Operate and troubleshoot equipment 

-Communicate with upstream and downstream operations to maintain process flow and prevent production disruptions 

-Disassemble, clean/sanitize and reassemble all required equipment 

-Maintain line housekeeping and sanitation

-Set up, maintain, monitor, and adjust equipment as necessary to maintain the product, quality, and safety specifications

-Conduct required quality checks on product

-Communicate and interact with others in a manner consistent with the company's philosophies

-Other related assignments as necessary

Work Environment in This Position:

The employee will regularly work both alone and with others; in an active environment; in areas of high noise level; and around mechanical, electrical, and pressurized equipment. The work is fast-paced. 

Culture Cream is looking for:

-One year related (kitchen) experience (preferred)
