THE ROLE:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable individual who is looking to further their career within the catering & events world! As a Catering Coordinator you will work closely with our the Event Manager & Event Director in all administrative duties related to our drop off catering and events department. You are going to love this role if you are passionate about great food, like working with a young entrepreneurial team and are seeking an opportunity for career growth.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with managing client enquiries, job estimates & proposals and all other client communications for our drop off catering schedule.
  • Assist in managing weekly events calendar.
  • Completing kitchen and production daily job sheets for our drop off catering schedule.
  • Working with our kitchen team to prepare QR code menus daily for our drop off catering clientele.
  • Assist in marketing and social media tasks including content planning & posting on Instagram and bi-weekly newsletter planning and execution.
  • Assist the Event Manager & Director in event catering related tasks including receiving quotes from vendors (ie. rentals, staffing, etc.), completing proposals and other administrative tasks as necessary.
  • Assist the Event Director in any sales outreach related tasks.
  • Purchase & maintain office supplies

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A degree in Hospitality, Office Administration or related field preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional administrative and organizational skills, strong work ethic, and an ability to seamlessly and efficiently juggle multiple tasks at once.
  • Knowledge and know-how of Social Media Platforms is a must.
  • Expertise in using CRM platforms, Mailchimp, Quickbooks, and Canva is a plus.
  • Most importantly, passion for hospitality and palpable hunger for growth within an amazing team.

Hours: Full time Hours – Monday – Friday. Our office hours are generally 9-5pm however hours may differ slightly depending on the work week.
