Activities may include, but are not limited to:
Managing a site crew and keeping them on task
Reading site plans
Coordinating and procuring materials
Cultivating and planting garden beds/borders
Tree, shrub, and grass removal
Basic carpentry and trellis making
Lawn care
Watering, pruning, deadheading, and plant care
Required:
Own transportation to and from job sites
- Valid US driver's license (you may be required to drive company vehicles from time to time)
US citizen or similar legal entity
Fluent English speaker plus basic Spanish
Excellent punctuality and time management
Good physical health, stamina, able to lift at least 50lbs continously throughout each full work day
A keen eye for detail and excellent spatial awareness
The ability to adapt to extreme and variable weather
The ability to follow instructions from management and use caution when using heavy equipment
Positive attitude and the ability to be respectful, courteous, and kind to crew members and clients alike
Preferred:
Experience in landscape installations; proper planting technique, cultivation technique, plant ID, proper plant spacing, soil knowledge, and/or horticulture education
Experience managing a install crew
The position is 30hrs a week, Monday to Thursday, standard daytime business hours.
Compensation this position is : hourly, $20/hr + Application instructions
