Mighty Food Farm, is a certified organic vegetable farm located in Shaftsbury, Vermont. 2022 will be our 16th growing season!
At Mighty Food Farm, we use growing practices that enhance soil fertility and maintain the farm's natural balance. We use composts, cover cropping, biological pest control, reduced tillage, crop rotation, and a variety of other practices to produce our vegetables. Our soil is the foundation of our farm.
Mighty Food Farm has a caring work environment, where crew satisfaction and happiness is top priority! We grow 14 acres of vegetables. We have 230 member CSA, whom we pack custom ordered boxes for 3 days a week. We also have a robust local wholesale route and attend the Dorset Farmers Market.
We have tractors and equipment, but also spend time weeding and harvesting by hand. For 2022 we are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our established and motivated team.

$15.00 an hour starting wage. Raises are given annually, and when an employee exceeding expectations and being a great team member. Compensation this position is : hourly, $15-20/hr Application instructions

- harvesting
- weeding (sometimes for 3 to 4 hours)
- planting
- seeding flats in the propagation houses
- tending to greenhouse crops (tomatoes, cucumbers)
- packing vegetable orders
- tending to crops and their needs
- barn cleaning
- truck driving
