Company description The Welsh Rabbit believes that cheese (and other great food and drink) leads to great friendship and community.  In our Shop we welcome our guests with kindness and help them on their journey towards a great time with their friends and family.  Started 10 years ago by two brothers and a wife with just 12 cheeses, The Welsh Rabbit is now a Cheese Shop (and other artisan foodstuff), and 55 steps around the corner is our Bistro.  We enjoy life, people, and simple good food and drink. We have hit some record highs these past few months and are on the hunt for one - two passionate, kind, and fun loving folks.  Our Shop takes folks on a journey from tasting anything they want, to cutting and wrapping to order.  Great mix of loyal "frequent cheesers", tourists, and international folks.  Old Town Fort Collins is an historic area with many local shops (nearly all owned locally)...vibrant, fun, and out door-sey!

The ideal candidate will have

• At least 6 months of working in a cheese shop
   
• At least one year of experience in retail

• The ability to work both as a team and solo

• The knowledge that shopping for specialty product is not so much about buying food but the journey and that it is the nuances of that experience that make it memorable

We are a small and tight little team so the ability to get along with others is, quite frankly, the most important.

For the right candidate I am willing to discuss unique scheduling, such as 3 * 12 hour shifts or 4 * 10 hour shifts.
