Job description
Line cook
- 3 years + experience
- Willingness to grow and learn alongside the team in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and has a sense of urgency
- Must be able to meet physical demands of the position including standing for extended periods of time, bending, pulling, pushing, carrying up to 50 pounds, etc.
- Decent knife skills such as breaking down vegetables, peeling, slicing, etc.
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and remain calm under pressure
- Assist with deep cleaning schedule including cleaning ovens, refrigerators, etc.
- Working in a CLEAN and ORGANIZED manner and according to sanitary and DOH guidelines.
- Knowledge of health code and has DOH card. (if not, is willing to obtain one within 30 days
- Open/available work schedule
Sous Chef
- 5 years of culinary experience and 2 years + sous chef / kitchen manager experience.
- Responsible for managing and assisting in preparing mis-en-place for all stations, expediting service, as well as scheduling, ordering and labor/cost control analysis
- Must be able to work cleanly, efficiently, and with respect for quality ingredients and careful attention to preparation.
- Must be able to operate effectively as part of a team, COMMUNICATE clearly, ORGANIZED, be ON TIME, problem solver and ensure smooth service operations and quality service.
- Collaborates closely with the Executive Chef to plan and execute all menu items on a daily basis.
- Performs other related duties

*Compensation for both positions are based on experience.
Sous Chef: 58.5k - 60k
Line Cook: $18 - $20 /hr
