Responsibilities:

The Store Manager is responsible for the successful day to day operation and profitability of the business, which includes training, directing and monitoring store staff.  Engage customers and vendors with integrity, respect and true enjoyment.  Detail oriented all the while setting an example in a culture that embraces community, diversity, and learning.  Believe in organic and sustainability.  Be passionate about those issues and more.  Continuously improving systems, the customer experience, and personal skills.

Qualifications:

5+ years of Natural Foods retail and leadership experience.

Knowledge and awareness of relevant competitors and industry trends.

Advanced knowledge of products, buying, pricing, merchandising, and inventory management.

Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.

Capable of teaching others in a positive and constructive manner.

Natural Foods Product knowledge.

Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and managing inventory.

Decision-making ability, leadership skills, and ability to prioritize and delegate.

Store hours Mon-Sun 9:00AM-6:30PM.  Closed major Holidays.  Store Manager approximately 45 hours a week. 

Salary $80-85K + Company Profit Sharing 7% annually.  Blue Cross Blue Shield  40%/60% paid by company, 3 weeks’ paid time off, 40% off products.
