Company description Mayer's Tavern is a small, independently operated bar and restaurant focusing on local seafood & produce, natural wines, and handcrafted cocktails. We have a deep connection to the local fishing industry as well as productive relationships with small farmers in the area. Job description We are seeking a BOH manager/chef to help us raise the bar in our commitment to sourcing locally and ethically while also running general kitchen operations and food prep. This is a new position which we are willing to mold to the right candidate. 

Working in conjunction with the chef/owner you would manage the day time hours of the kitchen, receiving & placing orders, executing food prep, managing inventory & sanitation, and ensuring everything necessary is in place for PM service. We would like to increase our existing commitment to working with local farmers and the ideal candidate would be excited and engaged with this. There is much more to discuss about this role and a lot of room for growth if desired. Compensation this position is : salaried, 50k-75k Application instructions
