Our mission is to reduce food waste and alleviate food insecurity in communities everywhere. Replate manages the food donations of caterers, offices with meal services, brands with product overrun, farmers markets, restaurants and other surplus food generators. Every food donation is taken to a nearby nonprofit that works with people experiencing food insecurity.
Job description
We are looking for a reliable driver with an insured vehicle and valid license to pick up food donations from our Donor Members and drop it off to our Recipient Partners in Chicago and the surrounding neighborhoods.
Must Haves:
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
Food safety certified (if you're not certified, we will reimburse for it )

Vehicle and valid driver's license
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to handle day-of, on the job changes as needed

Bonus qualifications:
Customer service experience
Adaptable to startup environment
Cargo van driving experience
Cargo van driving experience
Responsibilities include:
Picking up surplus food from donors' offices or food facilities
Dropping off the food at shelters, community centers, food pantries, etc.
Coordinating with operations team to ensure quality service
Providing friendly service to both our donor members and recipient partners
