This position entails being a hands-on, valuable crew leader for one of our install crews. This role requires regular communication with management to ensure all responsibilities and work performed is done to Company and industry standards. The right candidate will be detail oriented and have a passion for installing beautiful, ecological landscapes within a growing company.

Responsibilities 

• Meet with Management to discuss jobs and tasks for the day.
• Oversee a team to craft installations with a focus on hardscaping. Projects may also include landscaping, flower beds, raised garden beds, sod, irrigation systems, and landscape lighting. 
• Ensure proper tools and materials are available and onsite for each job.
• Maintain a high level of tidiness and professionalism at job sites and throughout the community.
• Communicate with customers to make sure they have a firm understanding of the project details and addressing problems as they arise with the customer.

Qualifications

• Experience in hardscape installation including brick/paver and natural stone patios, driveways, walkways and retaining walls.
  • Knowledge of hardscape fundamentals including appropriate site preparation and grading. Proficiency with both wet and concrete saws as well as concrete and plastic edge restraint applications, building concrete forms for brick work and thorough understanding of base material specifications. Attention to detail a must to lay different patterns, sailor/soldier courses and complete finish work including sand and sealant application. 1yr+ experience required.
• Experience in landscape installation, organic gardening, or irrigation is required.
• Project Management experience preferred.

• Ability to work within a team and independently on assigned job tasks.
• Desire to complete projects in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Salary & Benefits

• Four Day Work Week: Position is full-time, Monday-Thursday 6:30am-5pm (Friday as needed when rain-outs occur), outside in the day-to-day elements.

• Starting pay $18-$22/hour, dependent on experience. 
• 3 weeks paid vacation accrued; Company Simple IRA available; Semi-annual bonuses
