Marketing Manager The Spare Food Co.

  • Date Posted April 22, 2022
  • Location Dobbs Ferry, NY
  • Category Business / Media
  • Job type Full-Time
Company description

The Spare Food Co. is a revolutionary new food company committed to a post-food waste world. We create category-defining climate-friendly foods and drinks using overlooked ingredients to reverse the effects of climate change.

The work we do is bigger than any one of us and our culture is ever-evolving. We surround ourselves with a diverse group of curious people committed to creating a brighter future through a love of food and all it affords.

Spare Tonic, a category-defining new drink made from whey, is the first product on the Spare Food platform. Whey is the super nutrient-rich liquid that is produced as a by-product of Greek-style yogurt manufacturing. It’s typically discarded by the yogurt industry, which is insane not only because it’s so healthy, but also because when improperly discarded, whey causes serious environmental damage.
