Warehouse Operations & Cust. Service Equal Exchange

  • Date Posted May 04, 2022
  • Location St. Paul, MN
  • Category Business / Production
  • Job type Full-Time
Company description Equal Exchange is a worker-owned co-operative and alternative trade organization, founded in 1986. We are headquartered in West Bridgewater, MA with offices and warehouses in various locations across the country from Portland, Oregon to St. Paul, Minnesota, and Cleveland, Ohio. Unlike most companies that seek to maximize profits for their investors, our goal is to maximize benefits to farmers. We have long-term, direct relationships with small farmer organizations around the world to source delicious organic coffee, tea, chocolate, cocoa, sugar, olive oil, nuts and dried fruits. And, we engage consumers in the U.S. to challenge the corporate control of food and reshape our food system in ways that benefit all of us. Job description

We’re looking for someone to join our small regional sales and distribution team. It’s a full-time, worker-owner track position, with eligibility for full membership in our cooperative after one year. We offer health insurance on your first day of work, sick and vacation days, and, after new hires have become worker-owners, a patronage dividend (depending on profitability), a vote and the opportunity to be involved in the governance of our co-op.
