Established in 2011 by Rand Rasheed, One Leaf Farm grows a wide variety of vegetables on 4 acres outside of Snohomish, WA.
Our produce is grown using the organic growing method.

We sell at the Ballard Farmers Market in Seattle, to Seattle-area restaurants, at our roadside farm stand, and through a collective CSA.

We’re a production-focused farm, we love working fast & hard and growing lots of great food.

Farm work can be challenging and demanding in every way. You must find satisfaction in a job well done. We’re looking for people who are motivated by being part of a successful farm, and committed to improving on the farm’s success.

Crew Member is responsible for helping in daily farm tasks such as harvesting, weeding, planting, tending to crops, vending at market, and cleaning. This is an entry-level position, with an opportunity for advancement.

After initial two-month training, an increase in pay is available for those who take on additional responsibility and/or improve performance (efficiency, speed, quality of work).

Schedule
Hours available change throughout the season. 
Start ASAP
Hours: Friday-Tuesday

• 20-32 hours per week December-March;
• 40-45 hours per week April-November)

This is a seasonal job, with the option to continue year-round. Must commit to May through November.

Primary Duties:

• Harvesting
• Hand weeding
• Transplanting
• Irrigation installation
• Cleaning wash-station and market totes
• Vending at the farmers’ market.

Safety and Security

• Uses safe working techniques, e.g., lifting, moving, etc.
• Uses safe tool handling techniques as per instructions.
• Follows the farm’s Food Safety Plan.

Required Skills

• Able to lift 50lbs, and enjoys physical labor.
• Able to walk, stand, squat, and kneel for extended periods.
• Enjoys working hard outdoors in all types of weather.
• Able to receive and share constructive criticism.
• Able to receive and share feedback and ideas with farm owner and crew.
• Understands the importance of following procedures and systems in place.
• Works well independently; can keep focused on a task.
• Able to take and give written and verbal direction well.
