We are a start-up company in cutting-edge food science urgently looking to hire and train herbal supplement makers to join our team. If you are selected you will receive hands-on professional training and education led by our Head of Product Development on food science, herbalism, plant-based wellness and artisanal product-making in this growth sector. You will make herbal supplements that we sell online and to other retailers.

This will initially be a part-time position that will develop into a full-time position as the company grows.

We are seeking self-motivated individuals who are committed to the company, punctual, able to execute with precision, steady-handed, are detail-oriented, with good hygiene and cleanliness, and are congenial with others, have an open mind and eager to learn. You will also be required to have a food handler’s license. Previous confectionery and pastry experience is encouraged but not absolutely required.

Responsibilities include:

- Preparing, making and packaging herbal supplements.

- Keeping up a steady and productive pace, according to our order volume, shipping schedule and other factors.

- Making sure that the number of products you're making is accurate and professionally packaged.

- Monitoring inventory for product ingredients to alert procurement to place orders.

- Checking quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for product development

- Maintaining a clean and orderly production station and adhere to health and safety standards required.

- Replenishing packaging materials from nearby warehouse.

- Facilitating pick-up by shipping.

- Willing to help other employees when needed.

Job Types: Part Time to Full Time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
