foraged. a hyper – seasonal eatery is located in the station north district of Baltimore MD. We are a 66 seat restaurant that heavily focuses on seasonal foods. We work very closely with our farmers, watermen and foragers to serve the best each season has to offer. We do not do the traditional app/entrée style menu but rather everything is along the lines of small to medium plates to allow the guest to enjoy more options and almost create their own tasting menu of what the season has to offer with an ever changing menu. Our beverage program reflects that as well.
Job description
Our beverage program is also very focused on using seasonal fruits, vegetables and foraged ingredients to make up our cocktail program that also should be ever changing to reflect the best of each season. We are looking for a creative individual to join our team and take over this program. This position would be full time with 2 days off a week. This position would be responsible for but not limited to:
Bar/wine/beer inventory and ordering
Writing, testing and prepping the cocktail/NA menu
Training of staff on cocktails, wine and beer
Overseeing wine parings for tasting menu and the chefs table
Working in various positons in the FOH to make sure a smooth service
Overseeing the floor during service
Meeting with distributors
Over seeing costs on alcohol
