• Full-time, hourly employee with benefits, rate depending on experience

• Duties are split between general landscaping and vegetable gardening, plus special projects as needed.

Duties include:

• General landscape maintenance around the tasting room and homes on the farm.
• Mowing, weed whacking, weeding, mulching, pruning, raking/leaf blowing, drip, and sprinkler irrigation install and repair

• Provide exceptional care for a 2-acre garden featuring a permaculture-style food forest plus traditional row crops.

• Greenhouse/Nursery work

• Safely operate vehicles, as well as hand, electric, and gas-powered tools.

Required:

• 2 years of experience with landscaping, gardening, farming, nursery work
• Familiar with agricultural equipment, and able to safely and effectively operate power tools..
• Ability to communicate well, follow instructions, and receive critical feedback.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, walk on rough, uneven ground, and lift at least fifty pounds on a regular basis. 

Preferred:

• Familiarity with, or interest in learning and developing new skills related to Biodynamics, Regenerative Organic agriculture, and permaculture.

• Proficient in English, or bilingual.

• Uses a mobile phone and computer for communication with coworkers and supervisors.

• Previously received training in the Worker Protection Standard and/or pesticide handling & application.
