The Role
We are looking for a passionate, creative, energetic marketer with experience in lifestyle brands. The Marketing Manager will own the development and execution of an integrated marketing plan aimed at increasing brand awareness, growing the Kasama community, and supercharging Kasama’s sales. The role offers an early seat the table in a nimble, high-growth alcohol brand. This position offers a lot of autonomy and responsibility and reports directly to the Founder & CEO.
Responsibilities
- This role will be responsible for all facets of Kasama’s marketing, bringing the inclusivity and joy of the brand to life across multiple touchpoints.
- The scope of responsibility covers everything from managing agency partners, to overseeing social media strategy, executing brand partnerships, and developing POS.
- Work with cross-functional teams such as PR, Social Media and Sales on new product launches.
- Produce events across the United States ranging from participation in food festivals, to in-store tastings, and virtual dinner parties.
You are
- A well-rounded marketing whizz who is thrilled by the challenge of developing high-level marketing strategy and rolling up your sleeves to execute the nitty gritty details needed to bring the strategy to life.
- As excited about strategizing on the multi-channel launch of a new Kasama Rum SKU as you are sampling Kasama Rum at a local event.
- Able manage many moving parts simultaneously without breaking a sweat.
- A problem solver who believes a creative solution exists for every challenge. Enthusiastic about working on a small team where each member wears many hats; you would never use the term “that’s not my job”.
- A person who loves having a good time - this is a rum company after all
- 5+ years of marketing experience for consumer-focused lifestyle brands (CPG or food & beverage a plus, but not required)
- Experienced in developing, coordinating, and executing a strategic marketing plan
- Deep understanding of how to translate the brand voice and values into a strategy with clear KPIs
- Skilled at managing external agency partners
- Exceptional verbal & written communicator with a strong design sensibility Hyper-organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent project manager
