Rocklands Farm Winery is a family-run farm winery located in the Agricultural Reserve of Montgomery County, Maryland. Our mission is to Feed, Nourish and Engage the community by sharing our passion for handcrafted low-intervention wines, pasture-raised meats and our stewardship to the land. Our historic tasting room is open to the public year-round to enjoy our products and the farm experience with friends and family. We are a tight-knit, fast moving team and we are looking to continue to grow and flourish in 2022.

Rocklands Farm Winery is now seeking a 2022 Harvest Intern.  We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is interested in learning more about the vineyard and winemaking process.

The position begins August 15th and runs through the end of October. Applicants should be prepared to work long days when necessary and 7 days a week during the peak of the season (September-October). 

Ideal candidates will have a desire and drive to learn about wine and wine production, a strong work ethic, a team-first mentality, and a flexible schedule based on weekly needs.

Compensation: $15/hr

• Vineyard sampling
• Fruit receiveal
• Pressing
• Racking
• Fermentation monitoring
• Fermentation management
• Sensory evaluation of wine
• Assist with grape harvest
• Cleaning...lots of cleaning
