Job description
We're seeking an enthusiastic + detail-oriented HR + Operations Assistant for our hospitality company based in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn. This role supports the Director of Operations in developing organizational systems + creating a welcoming, supportive work environment. We are a women-led company that welcomes applicants from all backgrounds. This is a part-time position with the potential to become full-time depending on the applicant.

  • Serving as the first point of contact for all HR-related issues
  • Onboarding new employees
  • Correcting time clocks + distributing paychecks
  • Posting jobs + monitoring job posts
  • Ordering supplies
  • Researching new equipment
  • Renewing permits
  • Managing regular maintenance
  • Managing pest issues + equipment/space repairs
  • Troubleshooting technical issues related to the website, WiFi + phone system
  • Assisting with other projects as assigned by the Director of Operations

  • Able to work in person at least 3 days per week
  • Interested in food + hospitality
  • Passionate about creating a positive + supportive work environment
  • Detail-oriented + organized

  • Familiar with Google Workspace + Microsoft Office
