Job Description:
An exciting opportunity to work under and learn from a classically trained Owner/Executive Chef who has designed and prepared menus for some of the top kitchens in New York City and California. This position offers applicants flexibility and the opportunity to learn several stations, both hot and cold. Duties include slicing meats and cheeses, making sandwiches and salads, prepping sauces and condiments, and taking daily inventory. Approximate hours are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM daily.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Quick service, fast-paced work environment
- Commitment to high food quality and enthusiasm for great food
- Stock and organize food displays
- Re-stock all necessary inventory (food, equipment, paper goods, etc.)
- Stock and prep all meats, cheeses, produce, and bread
- Physical ability to work a standing shift for 8-10 hours and handle the physical demands of retail role
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding our food items
- Reports daily to Store Manager
Compensation/Benefits:
- $16 - $22 per hour (based on experience)
