About the Cooperative
The Snoqualmie Valley Farmers Cooperative (SVFC) is a non-profit membership-based organization which is owned and operated by its 21 member farms. The cooperative farmers pledge to use only sustainable and organic growing methods. The SVFC runs a CSA (consumer supported agriculture) subscription program, so member farmers can sell their produce directly to consumers. The SVFC is a growth-oriented organization working hard to build a stronger and more sustainable local food supply chain.

Communications & Marketing Lead
Job Overview
The Communications & Marketing Lead will manage all public facing communications of the cooperative including but not limited to: emails, weekly newsletters, social media, and the SVFC website. They will be responsible for checking the main email account and responding to or facilitating the response to all customer inquiries. This role will be asked to be part of the packing, picking up produce from farmers and as needed in the delivering operation. Key to this position is the development of an integrated marketing strategy for the SVFC and executing the plan with the support from the Executive Director and the SVFC Board of Directors.
Reports to: Executive Director, Bob Bois
Compensation: $20 - $22/hr. depending on experience.

Term: This is a year-round position.
Hours: Approximately 20 - 32 hrs. per week
Equipment & Software Used: Laptop and printer (SVFC property provided for use), Routific, Squarespace, Google Mail/Maps, and QuickBooks. Personal smart phone needed.
Requirements
- Customer first communication and attitude
- Strong writing, computer, and social media skills
- Photographic skills suitable for making digital photos leveraged in communications
- Comfortable lifting and carrying boxes up to 50 lbs
- 21 years of age or older
- Licensed driver – able to drive 8-hour delivery routes if needed
