Do you love New York City and its history and cuisine? Can you command a crowd, make them laugh, and have everyone literally eating out of the palm of your sanitized hand? If so, then this job is for you!

Ahoy New York Tours and Tasting, LLC which offers nationally recognized food themed walking tours of New York City’s unique neighborhoods is seeking passionate, highly energetic, and empathetic people as Tour Guides. Positions are part-time.

Applicants must possess strong leadership abilities, charisma, a wonderful sense of humor, excellent communication skills, a passion for New York City and its food and culture. We conduct on average 6-8 tours per week during the spring, summer and fall seasons. We also operate during the winter months.

Leading a food/walking tour is a combination of quick thinking on your feet, advanced storytelling, and helping navigate groups of 12-13 persons to various locations. We provide you all the training and get you up to speed on the ins and outs of the neighborhoods we tour and their marvelous foods and history. Once you’re up and leading a food tour, you’ll be amazed that you’re getting paid for something that is very fun and rewarding.
